Vows are a promise that a couple make to each other that they will carry with them throughout their marriage.

Because there are no strict requirements, you have several options when it comes to choosing your vows.

• Write your own - This is a very special and personal way to share your promise of love with your partner.  It can be a bit intimidating for some people. I suggest thinking about how your partner makes you feel, how you picture your married life together and speak from your heart.  There are lots of guides to writing you own vows online that may help.

• Choose from my sample vows - I have created a file of sample vows. Couples can choose any of these, mix and match part of each sample, modify the sample to better reflect them or they can even be used as inspiration for writing your own vows.

• Simply use "I Do" - Some couples like to keep things short and sweet. In this case we can simply use the "I Do" response to the legal question asked in number 4 of the Wedding Ceremony Template.
